Circle Tuesday, that's poker night
Six nights a week, plus the odd change through the year — this is how the calendar actually looks at Jacaranda Yard.
Six nights, six leading games
| Night | Doors | Leading game |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | — | Closed for the week |
| Tuesday | 6:30 pm | Friendly poker, no buy-in |
| Wednesday | 6:30 pm | Euchre pairs |
| Thursday | 6:30 pm | Crib and canasta |
| Friday | 6:30 pm | Five hundred |
| Saturday | 6:30 pm | Bridge and mixed tables |
| Sunday | — | Closed for the week |
Expect a shorter float over Christmas
November brings the jacarandas down over Prince Street, and we sweep the yard out back twice a night instead of once.
We close for a short break at Christmas, always posted well ahead of time on the door.
Winter thins the midweek tables a little; the games stay exactly the same, just quieter.
House dealers stay the same faces year-round, so a regular from March usually finds the same hands dealing in October.
